1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Rhythm Adaptive Calendar ("Rhythm" or the "App"), created by Rhythm Apps ("we", "us" or "our"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable consumer protection law.

2. License to use Rhythm

Subject to these Terms and applicable Google Play terms, Rhythm Apps grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to install and use the App on compatible Android devices associated with you.

You may not copy, resell, rent, sublicense, reverse engineer or misuse the App except where such restriction is prohibited by law or where a component is provided under an open-source license that expressly permits it.

3. What Rhythm does

Rhythm is a calendar and time-planning tool. Features may include calendar views, event editing, tasks, Adaptive Day suggestions, travel and leave-by estimates, reminders, Event Packs, preparation and recovery time, widgets, local search, Life Admin information and paid Pro features.

Some features depend on Android permissions, compatible device capabilities, your calendar provider, Google Play services or information you enter. Feature availability can vary by Android version, device manufacturer, country and service configuration.

4. Your calendar data and content

You retain your rights in calendar content, notes, tasks, checklists and other information you enter into or access through Rhythm. You are responsible for the accuracy, legality and appropriateness of the content you create or import.

When you permit Rhythm to write to an Android calendar, changes can be synchronized by the calendar account/provider connected to that calendar. You are responsible for reviewing important changes, especially deletions, recurring events and schedule adjustments.

5. Adaptive Day and recommendations

Adaptive Day, free-time suggestions, reminder timing and similar features are planning aids. They may use deterministic rules, estimates and the information available to the App. Unless a feature explicitly says otherwise, Rhythm will present suggested schedule changes for your review before applying them.

You remain responsible for deciding whether a suggested change is appropriate. Important appointments, travel, work obligations, medical appointments, legal deadlines and other time-sensitive commitments should be independently verified.

6. Travel and leave-by information

Travel estimates can be affected by inaccurate event locations or distances, traffic, weather, road closures, public transport changes, parking, walking speed, accessibility needs and other factors outside Rhythm's control. Do not rely on Rhythm as your only source for time-critical travel decisions, emergencies or safety-critical navigation.

7. Notifications and reminders

Rhythm may use Android notifications and alarms to remind you about events or recommended departure times. Android power management, permission settings, device restarts, clock changes, battery restrictions or operating-system behavior can delay or prevent notifications. You are responsible for maintaining independent reminders for critical obligations.

8. Pro purchases and subscriptions

Rhythm may offer paid features through Google Play, including monthly or annual subscriptions and a one-time Pro purchase. Prices, taxes, billing periods, introductory offers and available products are displayed by Google Play at the time of purchase and may vary by region.

• Subscriptions: subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled through Google Play before the applicable renewal date, subject to Google Play terms.
• One-time Pro purchase: where offered, a one-time Pro purchase activates the corresponding Pro entitlement associated with the Google Play account used for the purchase, subject to Google Play's purchase and restoration mechanisms.
• AI Premium: AI Premium or other future services are included only when the App and Google Play purchase screen expressly state that they are part of your plan. A Pro purchase does not automatically include future AI Premium services unless expressly stated.
• Refunds: purchases and refunds are processed under Google Play rules and any mandatory rights under applicable law.

We may change the features included in free or paid tiers for future purchases, but we will not intentionally misrepresent the product you are purchasing.

9. Third-party services

Rhythm can interact with services that we do not control, including Android system services, your calendar provider, Android backup/device transfer and Google Play Billing. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Rhythm 1.0.4 can use a Rhythm Apps serverless proxy and Google Routes API when you request a live travel estimate. The request contains current device coordinates and the event destination. The backend also verifies purchase tokens with Google Play and processes subscription lifecycle notifications. Availability depends on these cloud services and Google Maps Platform coverage. Your use of routing is also subject to the Google Maps Platform Terms and Google Privacy Policy.

10. Acceptable use

You must not use Rhythm to violate law, infringe the rights of others, interfere with the App or Google Play, attempt unauthorized access to another person's data, or use the App in a way that could damage, disable or disrupt its operation.

11. Availability, updates and changes

We may update Rhythm to fix bugs, improve security, add features, maintain compatibility or meet platform and legal requirements. Some updates may change the appearance or operation of the App.

We aim to preserve user data across normal App updates, but no software can guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. You should maintain appropriate backups for information that is important to you, including through your calendar provider where applicable.

12. Intellectual property

Rhythm, its original design, branding, graphics, software and documentation are owned by Rhythm Apps or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Open-source components remain subject to their respective licenses. See Open Source Licenses.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rhythm is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not promise that every feature will always be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every purpose. This disclaimer does not remove statutory warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rhythm Apps is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising solely from reliance on estimated travel times, missed notifications, inaccurate user-entered information, third-party calendar synchronization or third-party service interruptions.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory consumer protection law.

15. Termination

You may stop using Rhythm at any time and uninstall the App. We may stop distributing or supporting a version of the App where reasonably necessary, including for security, legal or platform reasons. Google Play purchase and subscription rights remain subject to applicable Google Play terms and mandatory law.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you under the law of your country of residence or applicable European Union law.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the App, paid plans, platform requirements or applicable law change. The latest version will be published on this page. Where required, material changes will also be communicated in the App or through the relevant store process.
